National Food Safety Day: Round Table Discussion on ‘Food Safety Culture and Practice’

Dhaka, 28 February, 2023 – The Bangladesh Food Safety Foundation (BFSF) is excited to announce observance of the National Food Safety Day, scheduled to take place on 3 March 2023 in AKM Gias Uuddin Milky Auditorium of the Directorate of Agriculture Extension, Khamarbari, Farmgate, Dhaka. This event is part of BFSF’s ongoing commitment to be united for safer food. A round-table discussion will be held on “Food Safety Culture and Practice.” 

The round-table discussion will provide insights on practicing food safety culture especially among the food business corporates and food workers in the food establishments toward achieving food safety. Mr. Badol Chandra Biswas, Director General of the Directorate of Agriculture Extension, Ministry of Agriculture will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. This event will bring together food businesses, individual experts, academia and food control agencies to discuss and address key issues related to food safety culture. The event is open to invitees only.
